Plasma-Treated F modified TiO2 Impact to Enhance the Photocatalytic Performance of TiO2

Abstract: For the first time achieved F modification of titanium dioxide through a plasma method. The F modification of titanium dioxide was achieved by Ar/HF dielectric barrier discharge, including the introduction of Ti-F bonds, interstitial F doping, and substitution of F doping. The characterization results show that the band gap of Ar/HF/DBD-TiO 2 is reduced to 2.78 eV, the fluorescence intensity is greatly reduced, and the electron-hole recombination rate is reduced.
