Plasmablastic lymphoma of the maxillary sinus; a case report and review of the literature

Abstract: Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is a rare and aggressive variant of diffuse large B‐cell lymphoma (DLBCL). It is a recently described variant of non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma that occurs almost exclusively in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, in the post‐transplant setting and in other immunosuppressive states.
