Abstract:Plastic bronchitis (PB) is a recurrent inflammation of the bronchi, characterized by the formation of fibrin-rich rubber-like secretions that obstruct the airways.Aim. The authors present a rare case of PB in a 67-year-old woman who had been receiving treatment for bronchial asthma for 20 years.
