Plastic Deformation Contributions of CLT and LTF Shear Walls: Development of an Analytical Capacity Model

Abstract: This paper compares the experimental cyclic response of Cross-Laminated Timber and Light Timber Frame shear walls. The goal is extracting the fractions of the lateral displacement due to sliding, panel's deformation and rocking. The three contributions to the total displacement, expressed in percentage, are then used to develop an analytical capacity model valid for CLT and LTF shear walls.
