Platelet infiltration predicts survival in postsurgical colorectal cancer patients

Abstract: Platelets promote tumor growth and metastasis in several tumor types. Recent research has found platelets can extravasate and infiltrate into the tumor stroma and interact with the tumor microenvironment.
