“…Na literatura já existem alguns métodos de incorporação de nanopartículas de prata, estudados por exemplo por (ILIC et al, 2009), que imobilizou nanopartículas de prata em algodão via adsorção superfi cial e (CHEN; CHIANG, 2008), que utilizaram monômeros quelatos com nanopartículas de prata adsorvidas ligados às fi bras de algodão, os quais apresentam forte atividade biocida. Na presente pesquisa, a incorporação das nanopartículas de prata foi realizada utilizando o método Layer-by-Layer (LbL), cuja técnica fornece fi lmes de espessura nanométrica com alta homogeneidade (SANTOS et al, 2012;DECHER et al, 1994;PENG et al, 2009). Esta técnica apresenta vá-rias vantagens para a incorporação de nanopartícu-las em tecidos, como o alto controle molecular das nanopartículas adsorvidas, interação via adsorção eletrostática dos polieletrólitos utilizados e também a possibilidade de incorporação de duas ou mais espécies de nanopartículas no mesmo tecido, atribuindo assim, propriedades de interesse ao tecido.…”
