Abstract: Background: Pleuroparenchymal Fibroelastosis (PPFE) is a rare disease that consists of elastofibrosis that involves the pleura and subpleural lung parenchyma; it is an unusual pulmonary disease with unique clinical, radiological and pathological characteristics.
