Pleuropulmonary blastoma in a 12-year-old boy presenting with pneumothorax

Abstract: Pleuropulmonary blastoma is a rare pulmonary neoplasm seen in the pediatric population. We report a purely cystic-type pleuropulmonary blastoma in a 12-year-old boy who presented with spontaneous pneumothorax. He underwent partial resection of the left lower lobe under video-assisted thoracoscopy.
