PM2.5 concentration prediction in Lanzhou, China, using hyperchaotic cuckoo search––extreme learning machine

Abstract: Recently, Northwest China has been suffered PM2.5 pollution. Through a case study of Lanzhou city, capital of Northwest China’s Gansu province, a hyperchaotic cuckoo search-extreme learning machine (HCCS-ELM) approach is proposed to establish a PM2.5 concentration prediction model. The cuckoo search is used to generate the number of hid- den layer neurons in ELM. The hyperchaotic system is innovatively introduced to improve the accuracy of the algorithm with its good ran- domness and convergence. HCCS-ELM has … Show more

“…Notably, China ranks among the top three countries with a high burden of PTB, reporting an estimated incidence of 52 per 100,000 individuals [1]. In western China, PTB incidence surpasses that of eastern coastal regions, with annual rates exceeding 100 per 100,000 individuals in Tibet, Xinjiang, Guizhou, Hainan, and Guangxi [2][3][4]. Moreover, the rate of decline in PTB incidence is slower in western regions compared to eastern and central areas [5].…”

“…Assembly sequence planning has been studied since as early as the 1980s. Bourjault et al constructed a computerized diagram search method to comprehensively analyze the connection and contact relationships among the major components, determine the feasibility of the assembly sequence with the assembly contact diagram, and develop the priority relationships among the parts in a question-and-answer manner to finally derive the assembly sequence [8,9].
