Policies of European Countries to Combat the Climate Crisis

Abstract

The climate crisis is profoundly impacting Europe, one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change globally. Increasing temperatures, erratic rainfall patterns, and rising sea levels are intensifying, threatening human life, economies, and ecosystems across the continent. European nations are actively implementing diverse policies and initiatives, such as the Paris Agreement and the European Green Deal, and leading in renewable energy adoption and sustainable transportation. In this study, the geography of Europe, which includes industrially advanced countries, has been examined within the context of the European Union's climate policies.
