Policies to Overcome the Increase in Cyber Crime in The Era of Globalization Realize Public Security

Abstract

Policies to overcome the increase in cybercrime in the era of globalization are a very important effort in realizing community security. The rapid development of information and communication technology in the era of globalization has opened up new opportunities for criminals to commit criminal acts in cyberspace. Cybercrime has become a serious threat to the security of societies around the world. This study aims to analyze policies that can be used to overcome the increase in cybercrime in the era of globalization, focusing on efforts to realize community security. This research uses policy analysis methods to identify existing policies, analyze their effectiveness, and propose better policy recommendations. The problem that will be discussed in this study is how policies to overcome the increase in cybercrime in the era of globalization realize community security. The research method used is a normative research method with a statute approach and analyzed using content analysis.
