The findings of this research indicate that the flood management system in North Aceh still face several challenges. Results and conclusion: Although efforts have been made, they are considered temporary in addressing the recurring floods. Revitalization of embankments, drainage channels, and early warning systems still exhibit weaknesses in their implementation. Research implications: The existing embankments are insufficient to cope with periodic floods, and drainage channels are often clogged due to waste and sedimentation. The early warning system also remains ineffective in providing prompt and accurate warnings to the community.
