Políticas Públicas Para O Turismo: Uma Forma De Incrementar O Desenvolvimento Econômico E Social De Uma Região

Abstract: Este artigo pretende esclarecer porque os governos (em suas diferentes escalas) veem no turismo uma alternativa eficiente para incrementar o desenvolvimento econômico-social de uma região. Primeiramente, apresenta-se o enfoque econômico do turismo: faz-se uma apreciação sobre o conceito de turismo e a condição necessária para que este se desenvolva, assim como sobre os seus termos fundamentais.
