Abstract:In this research, poly(aryl ether sulfone sulfide) was synthesized by nucleophilic aromatic substitution reaction of 4,4′‐thiodiphenol with 4,4′‐dichlorodiphenyl sulfone in the presence of potassium carbonate. Also, flower‐like zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized through sol–gel route and then added in various percentages to poly(aryl ether sulfone sulfide) matrix to modify its hydrophobic nature. The chemical structure of the polymer was confirmed using Fourier transform infrared and proton nuclear magn… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
