Polyclonal antibodies inhibit growth of key cellulolytic rumen bacterial species

Abstract: Antibodies targeting specific bacterial species could allow for modification of the rumen microbial population to enhance rumen fermentation. However, there is limited knowledge of targeted antibody effects on rumen bacteria.
