Abstract:Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common heterogeneous disorder which is known as syndrome. The term ‘syndrome’ refers to a collection of clinical features or a phenotype. The specific features of the PCOS phenotype include clinical signs of androgen excess, elevated serum androgen concentrations, irregular menses, and infertility.
