Abstract:Polycythemia vera is a rare case confronted in dentistry with scarcely available case reports. Hence a scrupulous knowledge of it is inevitable. It is a myeloproliferative disorder characterized by excessive proliferation of erythroid elements, granulocytic and megakaryocytic cells.
