Abstract: Polymeric foams are natural‐like light materials that are widely used owing to a combination of exceptional properties and low cost compared with similar materials. Furthermore, tailoring the physical properties of these foams, and the environmental benefits of replacing solid plastics, are important factors contributing to their growing market share.
