Abstract:Dichlorobis(3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone) Zr(IV) was grafted onto different inorganic supports, namely SiO 2 , MAO-modified SiO 2 , MCM-41, Al 2 O 3 , and MgO. The resulting supported catalysts were shown to be active in ethylene polymerization using methylaluminoxane (MAO) as the catalyst. Catalysts were characterized by Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS) and nitrogen adsorption method. The highest catalyst activities were observed for the zirconium complex supported on MCM-41. V C 2010 Wiley Periodi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
