“…In the high temperature region, the χ M T value of 300 K is 2.69 cm 3 K mol − 1 , well in agreement with the theoretical value of 2.25 cm 3 K mol − 1 for six non-interacting Cu(II) ions with S = 1/2 and g = 2.0 [45]. When the temperature decreases, the χ M T value decreases gradually to 0.531 cm 3 K mol − 1 at 2 K. The χ M T versus T curve accords with an antiferromagnetic behavior of hexanuclear copper(II) complexes [41,46,47]. The best linear fit according to the Curie-Weiss law in the temperature range of 50-300 K yields C = 2.90 cm 3 K mol − 1 and a Weiss constant θ = −26.62 K (see the inset of Fig.…”

“…6). Relatively few coordination complexes, or polymers, have been reported showing this type of Cu 2 O 2 rhombic cluster [29][30][31][32][33][34]. The Cu centers are fivecoordinated and surrounded by three oxygen atoms from two mal ligands and two nitrogen atoms from one 4dmb ligand.…”

“…Bridging ligands are oxalate, ethanoate, and other ligands . The geometry of the copper ion in such polymeric complexes is square pyramidal and octahedral . Complexes in all of these classes have been shown to possess magnetic and biological importance.…”
