Abstract:Popular communication is an interdisciplinary, multi‐theoretical, multi‐methodological philosophy of media and audiences. It has evolved as a nonhierarchical perspective that emphasizes the value of objects, behaviors, attitudes, and beliefs associated with everyday life.
