Por que canta o Mahku – Movimento dos Artistas Huni Kuin?

Abstract: O presente artigo resulta de uma composição dos autores. Os desenhos realizados pelos MAHKU – Movimento dos Artistas Huni Kuin – a partir dos cantos huni meka, cantos do nixi pae (ayahuasca), são motivos para o comentário de Ibã Huni Kuin e sua forma de tradução da linguagem dos cantos que ele denomina “pôr ou colocar no sentido”. “…The visions are modulated by Huni meka , the Nixi Pae songs to control the “strength” of traditional medicine. There are songs to call for the “strength” ( pae txanima ), songs for visions ( dautibuya ), and songs to decrease the “strength” (Mattos & Huni Kuin, 2017).
