Poredjenje klinickih rezultata rekonstrukcije prednjeg ukrstenog ligamenta koriscenjem dvaju razlicitih postupaka

Abstract: During the last two decades the "golden standard" in reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament knee was the middle third of patellar tendon, but now are more used hamstrings tendon autograft. The aim of this work was to compare our results of the artroscopic reconstruction ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) of the knee using two different technics. We were controling 60 patients within the period of two years after operation. Group A was composed of 39 patients which had reconstructed ACL done with bone-patel… Show more

“…This is similar to other studies where the most ACL injured population were in the third decade of life [3,[5][6][7][8][9][13][14][15][16]. This is similar to other studies where the most ACL injured population were in the third decade of life [3,[5][6][7][8][9][13][14][15][16].…”

“…Consequently, the number of performed reconstructions of this structure of knee joint has been also rising [1,4,5]. The results of reconstructions are excellent in 80-90% of all cases due to the development of diagnostic methods, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), operative techniques and ear-ly rehabilitation [4][5][6][7][8][9]. However, it is illogical to have a situation where the number of studies dealing with the results and complications of operative treatment [4][5][6][7][8][9] is incomparably higher than those dealing with the prevention of ACL injuries [1,3].…”

“…Sex and the side of the knee do not affect the infection [6,[13][14][15][16], as shown in our sample. The fact that men dominate in our study sample only shows that males are more prone to ACL injuries so they are operated three to eight times more frequently than females [2,4,22].…”

“…The incidence of ACL injury has been increasing, and the most frequently injured are young, physically active persons [3][4][5][9][10][11][12][13]. Surgical reconstruction is the method of choice in the treatment of these injuries in recreational and professional athletes who have high levels of physical activity.…”

“…Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions are successful in providing excellent results in about 80 -90% of all performed operations [1][2][3][4][5]. However, the reconstructions sometimes fail, in regard to stability and symptoms that significantly reduce the patient's quality of life [1][2][3][4][5][6]. Incorrect tibial and femoral tunnel placement has been recognized as a common technical error leading to failure [1][2][3].…”
