“…No therapeutic approach seems satisfactory for the widespread forms, while surgical excision may be performed in localized ones. In one patient with an adult, nontypical expression of the disorder, carbon dioxide laser achieved excellent results (30), and the use of ultrapulsed CO 2 laser has been suggested to further improve the cosmetic outcome (16,29).
