Porous anodic alumina coating for optimisation of pool-boiling performance

Abstract: Studies on boiling show that this phenomenon is strongly influenced by geometry and chemistry of surface. One of the methods to control boiling and achieve optimum conditions for increasing the heat transfer coefficient (HTC) is to change the chemistry and structure of the surface by using coating.
