Porous Molybdenum Compound Design for Strong Microwave Absorption

Abstract: Exploring highly efficient microwave absorption (MA) materials with a facile preparation method is of great significance for tackling electromagnetic pollution and remains a challenge. Herein, ternary MoO 2 /Mo 2 C/Mo 2 N composites with porous structures are fabricated by a simple precursor pyrolysis process. The unique structure and multiple components, which could generate sufficient heterogeneous interfaces, are conducive to improve impedance matching, trigger polarization loss, and strengthen conduction l… Show more

“…The RL of the PS-based samples was estimated by the transmission line theory. The relative permittivity (ε), relative permeability (μ), and impedance matching ( Z ) are the salient parameters tuning microwave-absorbing features. Conductive loss and polarizations, including dipole and interfacial polarization, bring permittivity; meanwhile, natural resonance, exchange resonance, and eddy current loss establish permeability.…”

“…3g). 11 Notably, cell rigidity in the D-Fmoc-NV group only increased by 1.28-fold, while that in L-Fmoc-NV escalated by 2.07-fold. These observations underscore that left-handed supramolecular structures exhibit strong stereo-specific interactions with proteins.…”
