Abstract: SummaryWe aimed to determine the frequency of portal hypertensive gastropathy (PHG) in children with extrahepatic portal venous obstruction (EHPVO) and to find out the role of esophageal variceal obliteration by endoscopic injection sclerotherapy (EIS) and Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in the pathogenesis of PHG.
