Portfolio-Based Assessment in English Language Learning: Highlighting the Students’ Perceptions

Abstract: Portfolio-based Assessment (hereafter, PBA) plays an indispensable role in language assessment. PBA represents the development of the students’ learning process outcomes, trains autonomous learning, and stimulates metacognitive awareness.
