Portomesenteric venous thrombosis as a rare complication of acute appendicitis in pediatric patient: a case presentation and literature review

Abstract: Background Appendicitis is one of the most common paediatric surgical emergencies, however complication with acute portomesenteric venous thrombosis is rare.
