Pos-427 Whipple Disease in a Patient With Membranous Glomerulonephritis: First Case in Literature

Abstract: This disease has been rarely associated with autosomal recessive PKD, which may lead to recurrent or persistent bacterial ascending cholangitis due to dilated bile ducts and stagnant bile flow. We therefore confirmed the origin of fever in our patient as secondary to cholangitis. The use of PET is also a valid tool for identifying the site of occult infection in cases where clinical and first-level laboratory and instrumental investigations are not conclusive.
