Possible Evidence of a Point of Discontinuity (T*) on the Arrhenius Relationship for the Ba0.5Sr0.5Co1-xFexO3-δ Solid Solutions: A Non-Conventional Analysis
Abstract:Ba Sr Co Fe O solid solutions (x = 0.2, 0.5 and 0.8) have been studied by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in the 0.5 0.5 1-x x 3-δ temperature range of 500-800 °C under different atmospheres (oxygen and air). EIS measurements of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) show a o possible non-Arrhenius behavior at T*=680 C. Moreover, this paper reviews the experimental evidence of a non-Arrhenius behavior (curvature) instead of a linear extrapolation commonly used in literature. Non-Arrhenius behavi… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
