Possible Herpetic Viral Association in Cases of Acute Exudative Polymorphous Vitelliform Maculopathy

Abstract: We describe 2 retinopathy cases with a possible herpetic association. Methods: Presentation, workup, and clinical course of 2 patients were reviewed and compiled. Results: Patients presented with no to mild symptoms and multiple bilateral funduscopic yellow hypopigmented lesions corresponding to outer retinal thickening with submacular fluid on optical coherence tomography.
