Abstract:Extending the ideas of Koba-Nielsen-Olesen (KNO) and combining them with the data on deep inelastic muon-proton scattering at the cms energy √ s from about 4 up to 20 GeV, we are led to the conclusion that the KNO scaling might reveal oscillations. Data on the scattering of muons on deuterons (while 8 ≤ √ s ≤ 30 GeV) as well as on the proton-proton and proton-antiproton collisions (in the range of √ s from about 11 up to 900 GeV) are also compatible with that phenomenon.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
