Abstract:This study investigates the Danian siliciclastic successions in the East Tethys in the Kopet-Dagh Basin, NE Iran, which are composed of conglomerates, sandstones, shales and mudstones. The studied interval includes significant changes in sedimentary environments from alluvial to fluvial systems.
