Abstract:Postoperative pain is a prevalent experience in persons hospitalised in surgical institutions. Therefore, controlling and decreasing it are one of the aims of nursing. A total of 86 Nurses participated in the study of which 78 of them were females and 8 men. Pain management training programmes both boosted the knowledge and modified the attitudes of nurses regarding pain treatment and control.
