Postinfectious heterotopic ossification of the ilium involving the iliacus muscle

Abstract: Heterotopic ossification in soft tissue or muscle is rare in the pediatric and adolescent age group. Most cases are associated with musculoskeletal injury and trauma to the central nervous system.
