Postoperative Delirium: A Literature Review of Management in Intensive Care Unit

Abstract: Perioperative delirium is a wide-ranging problem that directly affects primary clinical results. The anesthesiologist must understand how to define and diagnose delirium, identify patients at high risk of delirium, identify predisposing factors to adjust the care plan appropriately, and manage delirium in the acute postoperative period.
