Postoperative Infection Caused by Methicillin-Resistant Coagulase- Negative Staphylococci in the Oral and Maxillofacial Region: A Case Report

Abstract: Osteomyelitis of the jaw infected with Coagulase-Negative Staphylococci (CNS) is rarely reported in the Oral and Maxillofacial Region. Staphylococcus is a part of the normal body flora, but it may be cause severe infections and CNS are often described as the important pathogens in nosocomial infections.
