Abstract:Introduction: Postoperative pediatric cerebellar mutism syndrome (POPCMS) is a significant complication observed after posterior fossa surgery for tumors, particularly in pediatric neurosurgery. This paper presents a literature review on the physiopathology, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term outcomes of POPCMS.
