Abstract: Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 153 K; mean (C-C) = 0.003 Å; R factor = 0.032; wR factor = 0.079; data-to-parameter ratio = 11.0.The title complex, K[V(C 8 H 3 NO 6 )O 2 ]ÁH 2 O, was synthesized by reacting 4-carboxypyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (contaminated as a potassium salt) with NH 4 VO 3 in aqueous solution.
