“…The second step consisted of the reduction of the reactive carbon species on Cu foil at high temperature, thus producing graphene. Furthermore, approaches based on electrochemical methodologies using heterogeneous catalysts have been developed . For example, Hu et al.…”

“…Furthermore, Hu's group has synthesized new types of graphene sheets for DSSCs via invented reactions, such as 3D honeycomb‐like structured graphene (3DHG), 3D cauliflower‐fungus‐like structured graphene, and 3D crape myrtle flower‐like structured graphene . Very recently, they invited the reaction of CO 2 and potassium (K) for the synthesis of 3DHG: 4Knormall+3CO2()g=normalCgraphenenormals+2K2CO3()s …”

“…Furthermore, the simultaneous generation of K 2 CO 3 can isolate graphene sheets, preventing the formation of graphite and controlling the shape of graphene. The 3DHG sheets can be obtained by removing K 2 CO 3 by using hydrochloric acid (HCl) . This provides not only a novel approach for the synthesis of 3D graphene but also an energy‐efficient process for CO 2 sequestration.…”
