Potencial de riesgo asociado al uso de pesticidas organoclorados en la Reserva de la Biósfera de la Barranca de Metztitlán, Hidalgo

Abstract: En el presente trabajo se determinó la presencia y concentraciones de los pesticidas organoclorados (PO), en agua y sedimentos de Laguna de Metztitlán, Hidalgo; con el objetivo de identificar el uso de estos compuestos como un factor de presión sobre la biodiversidad y un potencial de riesgo asociado a la salud, problemática que se acentúa debido a que inmerso en la reserva hay asentamientos humanos y que la principal actividad económica de la región es la agricultura.
