Potential Flow Past a Slightly Deformed Porous Circular Cylinder

Abstract: A uniform potential flow past a porous circular cylinder with a core of different permeability is discussed. The porous circular cylinder is slightly deformed whose radius is r = r 1 (1 + cos mθ), where | | 1 and m is a positive integer. Here r , θ are the polar coordinates and r 1 is the characteristic radius of the cylinder.
