Abstract: There is a growing concern about methicillin-resistant (MR) Staphylococcus infections in humans, specifically the more common MR Staphylococcus aureus (SA) or MRSA, and the less common but capable to produce even more potent toxins MR Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (SP) or MRSP.
