Zur Messung der EMK an Konzentrationszellen mit Überführung vom Typ (M = Alkalimetall, M′ = Erdalkalimetall) wird eine apparative Anordnung beschrieben. Die Reversibilität der Bromelektroden wird durch Messungen an der Bildungskette von Pb Br2 bestätigt. In den untersuchten Mischungen NaBr‐(CaBr2, SrBr2, BaBr2) und KBr (CaBr2, SrBr2, BaBr2) nehmen die EMK‐Werte mit steigender Konzentration an Erdalkalimetallbromid zu. Die Ergebnisse sind in den Grenzen 0,5…︁1,0 mV bei niedrigen und 1…︁3 mV bei hohen Konzentrationen an Erdalkalimetallbromid reproduzierbar.
