Abstract:In this study, an allyltrifluoromethanesulfonyl imide ([C4H5O2F3NS]−) cation exchanger was synthesized to readily measure low molecular weight (LMW) aliphatic amines by potentiometric detection. The [C4H5O2F3NS]− was used to modify the glassy carbon electrodes (GCEs) of the potentiometer via electrochemical polymerization. The modified electrode was used to construct a potentiometric ion chromatography (IC) detector as well as trimethylamine (TMA)-specific molecularly imprinted membrane electrodes on a GCE sur… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
