Potentiometrically Measured Reduction of Low Concentrations of Dye by Illuminated Chloroplasts

Abstract

The chloroplastic reduction of low concentrations of indophenol dye was measured potentiometrically. Kinetic analysis of the dark reaction between chloroplastic electron-donor and added dye can be approached by using rate-determining concentrations of dye. An order of reaction greater than one was indicated with respect to initial dye concentration.
