Poverty as a Threat to National and Economic Security in the Russian Federation: Theoretical Aspects

Abstract

Theoretical aspects of solving the problem of poverty in the Russian Federation are considered. Possible ways of solving the problem of poverty in single-industry settlements, rural and depressed areas are analyzed. It is postulated that the conclusions of the study can be used by public authorities in drawing up programs for regional development and poverty alleviation.
