Abstract:We generated novel elven 1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophthalimides and tetrahydroquinazoline derivatives from 1,2,3,6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride (1) in response to our interest in using the anhydrides to produce heterocyclic nitrogen compounds.
