Abstract: BackgroundVoriconazole is a triazole antifungal agent effective in most cases of keratitis caused by fungi. Off-label use of extemporaneously compounded intraocular (intrastromal, intracameral) voriconazole has shown promising results in deep fungal ophthalmic infections, and abscessed, recurrent or drug resistant eye infections.
